Reds ‘make offer’ for Dembele
In emerging reports, Liverpool have supposedly ‘made an offer’ to sign Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele upon the expiry of his contract later this month, according to Spanish news outlet Sport, as the Reds look to bolster their attacking options this summer.
Jurgen Klopp looks likely to lose Sadio Mane this summer, with Bayern Munich ready to pounce on the Senegalese international who has just one year remaining on his contract, while Mohamed Salah is also yet to agree on new personal terms as he enters the final 12 months of his current deal.
Dembele is set to leave as a free agent this summer after struggling to meet expectations following his big money move from Borussia Dortmund in 2017, although the Reds face strong competition from Chelsea for his signature.

Salah makes next club admission
Mohamed Salah is yet to sign new terms with Liverpool despite months of negotiations with the Reds, with the Egyptian failing to renew his existing deal as he heads into his final month of his current contract, and he has now made an admission over his future on Merseyside.
Salah revealed last week that he will definitely be a Liverpool player next season, which dismissed any chance of him leaving Anfield this summer, although he has now said that he is prepared to leave the club as a free agent if he does not sign a new deal between now and next year.
On top of this, The Athletic have reported that Salah is happy to remain in England should he leave Liverpool and would look to move to another Premier League club should he eventually depart Anfield, rather than look for a new club abroad.
