Incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has already shown his commitment to the project he is about to embark upon at Old Trafford.

The Ajax boss will take charge at United this summer and is set to oversee a huge overhaul of the playing squad at the club. And he is set to make a move in direct opposition to what Jose Mourinho chose to do as United boss – by signing a lease on a luxury apartment in the heart of Manchester.

It comes as a clip has emerged which shows United’s players exactly what they can expect from their new manager. And one of Ten Hag’s current players at Ajax has begged his manager to bring him with him to Old Trafford.

Ajax player begs for United move

Ajax youngster Brian Brobbey has jokingly pleaded with Erik ten Hag to sign him when he takes charge of Manchester United.

Brobbey has returned to Ajax on loan from RB Leipzig after his form under Ten Hag impressed the German side enough to sign him up. He’s since been sent back to Ajax on loan and even bagged the winning goal for his side in Saturday’s 1-0 win over NEC.

And speaking after the game Brobbey was asked about Ten Hag’s pending move – and asked his manager to sign him for United.

Ten Hag could be Guardiola’s neighbour

Erik ten Hag has started his search for a new home in Manchester with the Ajax boss eyeing an apartment in the same block as Man City boss Pep Guardiola.

It comes after former United boss Jose Mourinho famously lived in a hotel throughout his two-and-a-half-year spell at Old Trafford. But Ten Hag has already had a look at a luxurious apartment as he prepares for his long-term future in the city.

Manchester United’s stars have been shown exactly what they can expect from incoming manager Erik ten Hag in a resurfaced clip of him dealing with one of his players.

The Ajax manager is seen ordering one of his troops to “shut up” after they failed to listen to his tactical instructions in a fierce display of the leadership qualities he will bring to Old Trafford. In the clip, Ten Hag bellows instructions at Noa Lang as he showed his frustration at the player not “running deep”.

“Noa, you have to run deep! You have to shut up. You have to listen,” Ten Hag can be heard bellowing in a clip shared on Reddit. “You just need to do it. No, cut it out. It’s our game, not just yours.” And the incident is a clear sign of what United players can expect from their new boss next season.
