The fourth season of Stranger Things is almost upon us. The first seven episodes of the supernatural teen drama land on May 27th, the same day as Obi-Wan Kenobi drops on Disney+. Now you can watch the opening scene for free before the season starts streaming.
Two more episodes will come to Netflix later this summer (July 1st) with the season’s finale clocking in at a whopping 2.5 hours. All told, this season is reportedly 13 hours long—so watching just the first eight minutes will leave you with plenty more to look forward to.
Here are the first eight minutes of Stranger Things 4:
I won’t go into detail on what’s in this video to avoid spoilers, but it definitely sets the stage for what’s to come. It’s been nearly three years since Stranger Things 3 came to Netflix—and an entire global pandemic. The kids all look way older and we, dear readers, all feel way older. I do, anyways.
Still, I’m just as excited as ever to head back to Hawkins, Indiana and hang out with Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Hopper (David Harbour), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Joyce (Winona Ryder) and all the great characters that make this show so much fun—even if it was still the best in Season 1.
I’ll have more to say about Stranger Things as we approach release so definitely follow me on this blog and on Twitter or Facebook.
