Five teams have now confirmed their place in the last 16 of the 2022 World Cup after Groups A and B played their final matches on Tuesday.
England, the Netherlands, Senegal and the United States have joined France in qualifying for the knockout stages. Les Bleus will play their final match today as Group C draws to a close. Australia will face Denmark in what is likely to be a winner-takes-all clash, while France can confirm their first-place finish by avoiding defeat against Tunisia.
Argentina will then fight to save their World Cup in the evening’s matches, with Lionel Scaloni’s side needing to beat Poland to confirm their progression to the knockouts. If they lose, then a Saudi Arabia defeat of Mexico will send the South Americans crashing out of a tournament many expected them to win.

What’s on offer
Four more games will come today, rounding off the action in Groups C and D.

Then this evening, Lionel Messi and Argentina must avoid defeat against Poland to qualify for the knockouts. If they lose and Saudi Arabia avoid defeat against Mexico, Argentina will crash out of the tournament.
